Some Americans are so sick of the Affordable Care Act, or “Obamacare,” as it is called, they’d like to stop hearing about it altogether next year.
Asked which political word or phrase they’d like to eliminate from the discussion in 2014, 41 percent said “Obamacare,” according to a Marist survey released Thursday. Thirty percent of americans were similarily averse to the word “shutdown,” while 11 percent said they’d like to toss “gridlock” out the window.
The poll, conducted Dec. 3-5, surveyed 1,1703 adults and it has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.
