South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) was given an honorary fourth-degree black belt in tae kwon do Wednesday and marked the occasion by posting a video online showing her breaking a wood board with her hand.
“I earned an honorary 4th degree Black Belt today! Check out this video. We are fans of Tae Kwon Do in South Carolina,” Haley wrote on her Facebook page.
Donna Smith, co-owner of Ray Smith Tae Kwon Do, which presented the belt to Haley told TPM with the belt the governor has now achieved the title of “Master Haley.”
