Rep. Allyson Schwartz (D-PA) leads Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett (R) by eight points in the state’s gubernatorial race, 45 – 37, according to a Qunnipiac poll released Wednesday.
Fifty-six percent of Pennsylvania voters said that Corbett did not deserve to be re-elected, and gave the governor a 36 percent approval rating.
In a November survey from the Democratic Public Policy Polling firm, only 24 percent of Pennsylvania voters approved of the job Corbett was doing.
Quinnipiac surveyed 1,601 registered voters via phone Dec. 11-16 with a margin of error plus or minus three percentage points.
