FBI officials are taking lead in the investigation of a shooting at Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. Monday, according to metropolitan police chief Cathy Lanier.
At least 12 people are dead, according to DC Mayor Vincent Gray.
“Right now we have multiple pieces of information that would suggest that we have at least two other individuals that were seen with firearms,” Lanier told reporters at a press conference. “We know both of those individuals were wearing military style uniforms. We do not know if they are actually military employees. But these are people that we really are believe that are involved in some way and we’re trying to locate those individuals.”
