After a Washington Post photographer caught Sen. John McCain playing poker on his iPhone during a three-hour hearing on whether to approve military strikes in Syria, the Arizona Republican shrugged it off on Twitter:

McCain told CNN moments after the hearing that he “lost thousands of dollars” in the game, but that he was not playing with real money.
