President Barack Obama will detail plans to make college more affordable with a pair of events scheduled for this Friday in Pennsylvania and New York, the White House said.

Obama will first travel to Vestal, N.Y. for a town hall at Binghamton University. It is slated to begin at 12:45 p.m. ET.

From there, Obama will press on to Scranton, Pa., where he’ll be joined by Vice President Joe Biden, a native of the northeastern Pennsylvania community. Obama and Biden will both deliver remarks at the event, which is scheduled to start at 4:55 p.m. ET.
