As one conservative commentator would have it, the real offender in the latest online sex scandal to dog Anthony Weiner isn’t the New York City mayoral hopeful — it’s his wife.
During an appearance Thursday on Fox News, Michael Graham said that Weiner’s misdeeds have been exceeded by his wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Graham asserted that Abedin is taking a cue from Clinton and enduring public humiliation to “advance her political career.”
“Even worse, is his number one enabler, Huma, who has clearly learned everything from Hillary Clinton,” Graham said. “There is no amount of shame a woman cannot go through as a Democrat and advance her political career. It is horifying to me that she is willing to do this to herself. She’s worse than he is.”
Graham added later in the interview that Abedin “should be ashamed.”
It was the second time Thursday that Abedin draw scrutiny from a conservative source. The New York Post gave her front page billing, using its cover to argue that she’s “no saint either.”
