Ed Pilkington, chief reporter for The Guardian U.S., said Tuesday that he doesn’t know where National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden is hiding.
“Personally, I don’t know where he is. And again, I probably couldn’t talk about it if I did. But I don’t,” Pilkington said during an appearance on MSNBC, adding that he expects Snowden to be pursued with “great vigor” by the Obama administration.
In the same interview, Pilkington dismissed concern about a discrepancy between the amount Snowden claimed he earned as a government contractor and the 29-year-old leaker’s actual salary.
