A Hong Kong hotel confirmed to the Washington Post that a guest named Edward Snowden had been staying there, but checked out Monday.
Snowden, the source of the NSA leaks, had not said exactly where he was staying, but he told the Post that he was located at a hotel near the CIA outpost at the consulate in the center of Hong Kong.
The receptionist at the Mira Hotel did not say how long he had been a guest at the hotel.
