President Barack Obama is expected to announce the personnel changes within his administration during a Wednesday afternoon event at the Rose Garden, the White House said.
Obama will make the announcement at 2:15 p.m. ET.
The President will likely address the shakeup to his foreign policy team. On Wednesday morning, a White House official said that Tom Donilon is stepping down as national security adviser and will be replaced by Susan Rice, America’s ambassador to the United Nations. Rice, meanwhile, will be replaced by former Obama aide Samantha Power.
