A day after a devastating tornado ripped through the Oklahoma City suburbs, forecasters said that more destructive twisters could be in the forecast Tuesday as the storm system moves eastward, NBC News reported.
The threat area on Tuesday looked to be east and west of Oklahoma City, according to Weather Channel meteorologist Kevin Roth. Cities in Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana could be affected.
“Tornadoes, damaging wind gusts and large hail are possible throughout the threat area,” Roth said, as quoted by NBC.
