Warren Buffett Joins Twitter

Warren Buffett, chairman and chief executive of Berkshire Hathaway and one of the wealthiest people in the world, joined Twitter on Thursday. 

Buffett christened his account, which had already accumulated more than 55,000 followers before he even sent his first tweet, with a simple message.

Fortune magazine nudged Buffett to join the social media network in advance of its interview with him today, the Wall Street Journal reported.
