The man accused of stealing tens of millions of dollars from a sham veterans charity has had his trial pushed back to September.
“Bobby Thompson,” also known — according to authorities — as John Donald Cody, is representing himself in the fraud case being brought against him in Ohio. Cody, 65, is a Harvard Law School graduate, and has filed numerous motions challenging the prosecution, according to the Associated Press.
The trial had been scheduled to start on Monday, but last week a judge pushed the date back to Sept. 30.
