Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) repeated his call on Tuesday to label suspected Boston bomber Dzokhar Tsarnaev an “enemy combatant” in order to detain him indefinitely with fewer legal protections. His remarks came in a hearing on immigration with Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano. He also offered up some predictions on how he expected Tsarnaev’s legal defense will proceed.
“I would imagine that he’s going to tell us that his brother was the bad guy and he was a bit player and this isn’t a big deal,” Graham said.
