The chair of the House Homeland Security Committee told CNN Monday evening that officials have a person of interest in custody in connection with the explosions at the Boston Marathon.
“A person of interest is in custody and is being asked questions,” Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) told the network. “That doesn’t mean necessarily that this is the person who did it.”
Asked if there was any further information he could provide, McCaul said it “would be irresponsible for me to do so at this point in time.”
