The Coast Guard said Sunday night that the search is underway for two adults and two children off the coast of San Francisco after their sailboat took on water, CNN reported.
The vessel, possibly named Charmblow, was about 65 miles (105 kilometers) off the coast of Pillar Point when someone on board radioed the Coast Guard at 4:20 p.m. The caller said the boat was taking on water and the vessel’s electronics were failing, the Coast Guard said.
About an hour later, the boat operator said the occupants were abandoning the vessel, and the Coast Guard lost communication with the boat.
