Apple’s claim that Amazon engaged in false advertising by using the term “Appstore,” in its Amazon Appstore for Android, has been struck down by a judge in Oakland, California, Reuters reported Wednesday. Apple’s additional claim that Amazon infringed on Apple’s trademarked Apple App Store is allowed to proceed, according to the report.
