Facebook is officially blocked in Iran, but that hasn’t stopped the country’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei from joining the world’s largest social network, as Reuters reported Monday. Khamenei’s new Facebook page, which was created December 13, so far includes posts of audio clips of speeches and meme-like image macros featuring quotes pasted over photos of the 73-year-old cleric. It also shows off the activity from Khamenei’s Instagram page, which the leader began using in late July and early August. A screenshot is below, and the page can be found here.
