Google, which has been the subject of multiple ongoing investigations by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), is due to settle with the agency regarding Google’s attempts to ban sales of products it accuses of patent infringement, Reuters reported Tuesday. The FTC’s other investigation, into claims Google’s search results unfairly prioritize and promote its products over competitiors, remains open-ended, according to the report.
