Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) said Thursday that the United States needs to do more to stop the bloodshed in Syria. In an interview with Foreign Policy, he said: “We’re at a point in the Syria crisis where we’ve got to have a more robust response to what’s happening.”
“There’s a growing frustration among people in both parties that there isn’t a clear and specific and focused strategy, that it’s been too tactical,” the senator added. “The entire effort is lacking real strategic coordination.”
