President Obama will be briefed on Hurricane Sandy in the Situation Room when he returns to the White House from Florida Monday morning, according to a White House pool report.
[W]hen POTUS gets back to Washington he will lead a meeting in the situation room to get briefed on the storm. Meeting will be convened via video teleconference with Hmld Security Secy Janet Napolitano, FEMA administrator Craig Fugate, Transportation Secy Ray LaHood, Energy Secy Chu, and National Hurricane Center Director Richard Knabb. Also participating will be Jack Lew, John Brennan, Alyssa Mastromonoco, Dep asst to the president for homeland security Richard Reed and others.
