President Obama urged caution in regard to Hurricane Sandy after a visit to FEMA headquarters in Washington, D.C., Sunday.
“My main message is we have to take this seriously,” Obama said, via CNN. “The federal government is working effectively with the state and local governments.”
“You need to take this seriously and take guidance from state and local officials,” the president said.
As to whether the storm will affect voting, Obama said “we don’t anticipate” the storm having an impact on voting, “but we’re obviously going to have to take a look.”
