Mars Curiosity Rover Sees Unidentified Shiny Object On Red Planet

A new image taken by NASA’s Mars Curiosity rover of the Red Planet shows an as yet-unidentified bright object on the surface of Mars right at rover’s base. NASA isn’t sure yet what it is, but thinks it may be a piece of rover hardware that fell off. The science team has suspended further soil scooping and sampling activities as it acquires closer, more detailed imagery of the unidentified object.
