Mitt Romney held a hastily-called press conference Monday night to respond to the hidden camera footage reportedly from a Romney fundraiser that shows the Republican nominee saying all of President Obama’s voters are dependent on government handouts.

The AP reported Romney said his line about Americans being victims was “not elegantly stated” and was “off the cuff.”
