CHARLOTTE — The Foo Fighters and James Taylor will be among the high-profile acts to appear on stage at the final night of the Democratic National Convention here. President Obama will close out the night with his speech accepting the Democratic presidential nomination.
Thursday’s program was supposed to be held in the football stadium nearby, with the muscial acts and other programming adding to a festival-like atmosphere. But out of weather concerns covnention organizers scrapped that plan and now the whole production will be moved inside the Time Warner Arena.
