Mike Huckabee defended Todd Akin again on FOX News Friday, telling host Neil Cavuto that social conservatives are unhappy with the way the party turned against him.
“There is great disappointment,” Huckabee said. “There was such a chorus, orchestrated chorus after him, quickly, publicly. Take a spy who has to be brought in from the cold as the old expression goes. You go and bring him in, try to figure out how to deal with him, can he be rehabilitated? Do you need to retire him? This was a public humiliation and it created a real conflict.”
