Fareed Zakaria — suspended from TIME and CNN after he admitted to plagiarizing part of an article on gun control — is taking the month of August off from his column at the Washington Post. The paper reported that Zakaria’s column will not appear this month. And a spokesperson for the Post told TPM it was Zakaria’s decision.

“There has been nothing problematic in his Post columns,” said Kris Coratti, director of communications for the Washington Post.
