The DCCC barely outraised their Republican counterpart in May, bringing in $6.68 million to the NRCC’s $6 million, the committee announced Tuesday, shortly after the NRCC announced their May numbers. That’s a slight bump from the $6.48 million they raised in April. To date this cycle, the DCCC says it has outraised the NRCC $96.75 million to $86.62 million.
The NRCC has more cash on hand, with $33.5 million to Democrats’ $27.5 million. The DCCC has reserved airtime in nearly twice as many districts, $46.1 million in broadcast TV time in 60 districts as it tries to erase Republicans’ 25-seat House majority.
