Former President Bill Clinton complimented Mitt Romney’s “sterling” business career during an interview on CNN Thursday night. Speaking about private equity and Bain Capital, Clinton said: “I don’t think we ought to get in the position where we say this is bad work. This is good work.”
Clinton said the election ought to be about Romney’s proposals vs. President Obama’s proposals. “It’s my opinion, anyway, that the Obama proposals and the Obama record would be far better for the American economy and most American than those that Governor Romney has laid out,” Clinton said.
