Conservative Republican Admits Keystone Pipeline Has Nothing To Do With Gas Prices

In a Tuesday interview with Washington’s News Channel 8, conservative Rep. Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD) acknowledged something most in his party are loath to admit.

“If the Keystone pipeline comes down through our country, which I hope it does, that will not change the price of oil,” Bartlett said. “The price of oil is determined on a global basis by what the supply is and what the demand is.”
