The pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA Action raised nearly $1.6 million in April, a dip from the $2.5 million the group raised in March. The number was also far less than what Restore Our Future, the super PAC backing Mitt Romney, brought in. Restore Our Future also saw its fundraising numbers dip but still brought in $4.6 million last month.
Labor was a big donor to Priorities USA, reports CNN:
The largest contribution came from the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, which gave the organization $1 million. Other groups putting money into Priorities included the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices, a group affiliated with the plumbing industry, and the National Association of Social Workers.
Priorities USA spent almost $1.9 million last month and ended the month with $4.7 million in the bank.
