Wal-Mart Exec In Scandal Quits MetLife Board

Eduardo Castro-Wright, the Wal-Mart executive at the center of the company’s bribery in Mexico scandal, yesterday resigned his position on the boards of MetLife, Inc and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, AFP reports

“I now must focus my energy in spending personal time with my family and in protecting my good name and business reputation,” Castro-Wright said in a letter to MetLife’s chairman.
