Indiana Treasurer Richard Mourdock, who’s challenging incumbent Sen. Dick Lugar for the Republican Senate nomination, has a new ad up charging that Lugar lost his conservative values when he left Indiana for Washington — one of the main themes of the Mourdock campaign.

“When Dick Lugar moved to Washington, he left behind more than his house,” the narrator says. “He left behind his conservative Hoosier values.” The mention of his house is a jab at the fact that Lugar lives in McLean, Va., having sold his Indiana home when he came to Congress.
