Ron Paul’s campaign reports that it has signed up 1,480 volunteers to serve as precinct leaders on election night, reports CNN. Precinct leaders promise to speak on behalf of the candidates they represent at their caucuses. Given this impressive number, Paul can assume there will be a leader to speak on his behalf at each caucus gathering.

But Paul isn’t the only one. Rick Perry’s campaign says it has signed up over 1,500 precinct leaders, and Santorum’s camp says they have over 1,000 leaders.
