As in the Sherlock Holmes story, what was most interesting tonight was the dog that didn’t bark.
That dog was Perry: having been backed into a corner he should have snarled, growled, barked, and above all, fought.
Instead he waffled… bored… dozed. He was more interesting in his reaction shots than in his mangled sentences.
He was basically ignored by the candidates, except for Bachmann, who’s probably making a play for his fleeing voters.
And yet Herman Cain was the center of a big pile-on, as if he’s a top tier candidate.
