Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) said she would not endorse Jon Huntsman for president. She told Laura Ingraham ‘I am going to go with someone that philosophically I agree with, and Jon Huntsman is not it.’ Her endorsement is much coveted by the GOP contenders, especially since she has promised to bestow it upon one of them before the important South Carolina primary. In every instance since 1980, the winner of the SC primary has gone on to win the Republican nomination.
