Appearing on Fox News radio with Brian Kilmeade, Norm Coleman himself confirmed that he’ll be appealing his case — which his legal spokesman had announced yesterday, after the election court handed down a ruling that seriously damaged his efforts to get his campaign’s list of previously-rejected absentee ballots put into the count:

Coleman: Well listen I am — I’m an optimist. Do I kinda look and say, how did we go from this lead here to where we’re at today? You know, those questions get asked, but in the end I can’t spend all my time worrying about what happened yesterday. This race isn’t over, Brian, that’s the message.

Kilmeade: But regardless of when those [ballots] are looked at, you’re gonna keep fighting on–
Coleman: Absolutely.
Kilmeade: –and the next step would be when?
Coleman: Minnesota Supreme Court, file within ten days.
Kilmeade: Okay.
Coleman: And we’ll file quicker than ten days, I can assure you. Bottom line is I want to make sure that there’s a — votes are counted fairly, uniformly, uniform standards. And we’re gonna push to the Minnesota Supreme Court to make that happen if we have to.
Kilmeade: Well, this man does not quit.
