Monmouth Poll: Trump Leads By Just One Point In Missouri

Donald Trump leads by just one percentage point among Missouri likely voters in the latest poll from Monmouth University.

The poll shows Trump ahead, 44-43, with Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson polling at 8 percent.

Monmouth has not previously released general election polls of Missouri voters, but a Public Policy Polling poll from August shows Trump ahead by three points, 45-42.

The Monmouth University poll surveyed 401 likely Missouri voters from Aug. 19-22, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percent.

TPM’s PollTracker Average for Missouri shows Trump leading Clinton, 44.3 to 42.7.
