Toomey and McGinty Tied In Pennsylvania Senate Race

Democratic challenger Katie McGinty is tied 39-39 with Republican Sen. Pat Toomey in the most recent CBS/YouGov poll of likely voters released Tuesday. Another 20 percent said they were undecided.

The Senate race in Pennsylvania is among the most closely followed and could tip the balance in the Senate.

TPM’s Senate Scoreboard rates Pennsylvania a tossup.

The CBS/YouGov poll was conducted online Aug. 30 – Sept. 2 among 1,091 likely voters in Pennsylvania and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percent.

TPM’s PollTracker Average for the race shows Toomey up .3 percent against McGinty.
