NEW YORK (AP) — Authorities say the FBI has arrested four people, including three high-ranking New York Police Department officers, in connection with New York City’s ongoing corruption probe.
Police Commissioner William Bratton and U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara plan to detail the case at a midday press conference Monday.
A businessman who contributed heavily to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s campaign already has pleaded guilty in the case. Earlier this month, federal prosecutors charged the head of the city’s correction officers’ union for allegedly taking kickbacks for steering union money to a hedge fund.

It says a businessman was involved. Many of my friends say Trump is a businessman. And I have a lot of friends. Not saying Trump is connected, but it seems like something is going on.
High ranking cops taking bribes related to the officers pension fund. A lovely way to start Monday morning. shakes head.
The New York Times, continuing its campaign of character assassination against Mayor DeBlasio, tries to tie these arrests to him. I call BS; these dirty cops were taking money from men who also donated to the mayor’s campaign. How does that make him a criminal? Between this and their hatred of Mrs. Clinton, I sometimes question my daily reading of the paper (online, of course!). Keep fcking that chicken, my friends.
Hold them to a higher standard. They know better.
Corrupt cops just wreck the whole system.
