After being roiled by sexual harassment scandals, CBS News is bringing in veteran producer Susan Zirinsky to become its first female president.

According to a Monday Los Angeles Times report, Zirinsky will replace David Rhodes who has served in the role since 2011 and is nearing the end of his contract.

CBS has taken hits in the #MeToo era, as anchor Charlie Rose, “60 Minutes” executive Jeff Fager and CEO Les Moonves all lost their jobs due to sexual harrasment and/or assault allegations.

“The #MeToo movement isn’t behind us, it’s alongside us in our thinking,” Zirinsky told the L.A. Times. “There will be a new and more powerful human resources person in the news division that is working on culture change. It’s really important to me to have an environment where there is transparency, where you can talk, where there are reactions based on actions.”
