A Globe and Mail newspaper reporter captured the incredible moment when shots were fired Wednesday morning inside the Centre Block of Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Canada, where the main legislative building is located.
In the video, uniformed men are shown walking with guns drawn towards the far end of a hall in the Centre Block. A loud bang is heard, and the camera shakes and briefly points to the ground.
Multiple shots ring out as the camera stabilizes and shows guards running toward the far end of the hall. After the firing stops, guards gather around what appears to be someone lying on the ground.
At least one person was injured in the shooting at the Centre Block, and police were reportedly still searching for a gunman, though reports were conflicting.
Watch below. Warning: While the video is shaky, it shows disturbing images:
Worth it for the stereo effect alone.
Holy shit.
Okay, maybe I’m being cynical, but what is so incredible about this story? Because it happened in Canada? Not getting it.
That sounds as if they filled the guy full of a lot of bullets.
If it was in the USA, it would be a shooting inside of the Capitol.
That’s big.
