Barry Bennett, an adviser to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, railed against those in the “Washington Establishment” who criticized the campaign in a Saturday memo obtained by the Washington Post and published early Monday morning.
In a memo to “Corey and Team” titled “Digging through the Bull Shit,” Bennett assured the campaign that the attacks did not spell the end of Trump’s candidacy.
“So this week the Media and the Washington Establishment bashed the campaign with energy yet ever seen against a Republican candidate. You name the medium and it was dominated with Trump Attacks. The media themselves couldn’t wait to label the week, ‘THE WORST WEEK EVER,'” he wrote. “Yet another pathetic display by the so called experts who line their pockets at the expense of our candidates and causes.”
After citing a poll showing Trump leading the Republican primary nationally, Bennett dismissed those criticizing Trump.
“Why is the question they cannot grasp. America is sick of them. Their idiotic attacks just remind voters why they hate the Washington Establishment,” he wrote. “Donald Trump 1 Washington Establishment/Media 0.”
Bennett confirmed to the Washington Post that he wrote the memo.
“Personally, it’s been a very hard time. You’ve got Republicans in Washington saying they’re keeping lists of people who work for Mr. Trump, who say you’ll never work in this town again,” he told the Post. “My point is that people should be pumped that the establishment is spinning.”
He said that the memo referred to both members of the media and establishment Republicans.
“The press is printing the narrative that the Republican establishment is setting. What’s necessary — what I’m saying here — is that we can’t let that influence how we see ourselves,” Bennett said.

Trump campaign:
No, thanks.
Wait until they get to the general. This is nothing so far.
If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
Amazing that he was able to re-take human form after the fall of Hydra.
No one is criticizing the campaign. It’s the candidate who makes us physically ill.
