Hackers targeted the Donald Trump campaign and Republican groups, in addition to compromising Democratic campaign groups, Reuters reported on Thursday.

At least one Trump staffer’s email was hit with malware in 2015, but it’s otherwise unclear whether the Trump campaign’s computer system was compromised, according to Reuters.

The news follows the revelations that Democratic groups, including the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, were also targeted by hackers. The FBI is investigating those attacks, which were likely carried out by Russian hackers.

Reuters reported that the “tools and techniques used to hack Republican targets resemble those employed in attacks on Democratic Party organizations.”
