Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s adviser, Stephen Miller, got testy Sunday with another CNN guest when the guest mentioned an interview Miller gave about Trump retweeting a picture that mocked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’s wife.
CNN guest and former RNC communications director Doug Heye mentioned on CNN’s “State of the Union” an interview Miller gave last week in which he defended Trump’s retweet of the image.
“You said let’s agree to disagree on sexism,” CNN guest and former RNC communications director Doug Heye said.
“You want to get into an argument?” Miller shot back at Heye. “Then we’ll get into an argument. If that’s what you want, you want to get into an argument? Then we’ll get into an argument.”
Heye and Miller talked over each other and CNN host Jake Tapper asked Miller twice to wait until Heye was done speaking.
“He just accused me of standing up for sexism and that is absolutely inappropriate, sir. That is inappropriate,” Miller said.
“I’m not yelling at you, if you want to yell at me that’s fine because I watched what you said,” Heye responded.
“I will. You misquoted me. That is a lie,” Miller said, before defending his comments, saying that it was a “trivial issue” to debate Trump’s retweets when Americans “are dying every single day as a result of immigration policies.”
Jake Tapper did absolutely nothing to stop this t rump moron. Nothing.
There has to be a Godwin-like thing for when assholes like this say "people are dying everyday because (insert completely unrelated issue here.)
Where does Drumpf find so many 12 year olds with receding hairlines?
I’d call it deflection, a red herring, in that family of fallacies and b.s. The emergence of ISIS as a media brand specializing in snuff films has been an absolute boon to people who want to use this technique.
“You want to get into an argument?”
“It’s getting hit on the head lessons in here.”
