Track Palin, Sarah Palin’s son, entered a plea deal last week, in a domestic violence case that included charges that included him punching his girlfriend in the face, Alaska Dispatch News reported.

Police in Wasilla, Alaska arrested Track Palin in January. According to court documents, Track Palin punched his girlfriend in the eye, kicked her and then threatened to shoot himself in the head with an AR-15 assault rifle.

The state dropped two of the three misdemeanor charges against Track Palin in the agreement the two agreed to. The dropped charges included the domestic-violence assault and interfering with a report of a domestic-violence crime, the newspaper reported.

“Track pled to misconduct involving weapons (in the fourth degree), concerning being under the influence and having a firearm,” Kevin Fitzgerald,Track Palin’s attorney, told the publication.

While campaigning for Donald Trump, Sarah Palin suggested that her son’s arrest was due to PTSD. Track Palin served in the U.S. military.
