Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX) said Tuesday that “Mary and Jesus didn’t have suicide bomb vests strapped on” during a discussion about the refugees expected to come to the United States and how the course of the conversation might change as the holiday season approaches.
Babin sat down for a radio interview with Brietbart News’ Stephen Bannon, who asked the congressman to comment on the anti-refugee “haters.”
“What they’re going to bring up over the holiday season is, ‘Mary and Joseph were refugees. Mary and Joseph when they went into Egypt were refugees,’” Bannon said.
In response, Babin brought up the terror attacks in Paris which left at least 129 people dead.
“Well, Steve, I would just say this,” Babin responded. “Mary and Jesus didn’t have suicide bomb vests strapped on them, and these folks do. You can see it in technicolor in Paris.”

NONE OF THE PARIS ATTACKERS WERE SYRIAN REFUGEES YOU FCKING DUMBASS BIGOT HATEFUL GGSHSDAAAAAAAAAAGGHHHH!
OK, well, glad that’s out of my system.
The didn’t have the rack, the Iron Maiden or the Ducking Stool strapped to them, either. That was the kooks who thought they were doing what their son wanted.
Today, you’d call 'em your base.
But King Herod reacted the same way to Jesus as Babin is reacting to Syrian refugees.
“…these (refugee) folks do (have suicide vests on).”
No, idiot Texas GOPer. If the refugees wanted to be dead they would be staying where the beheaders and summary executioners are… in Syria. This is why we call them “refugees”. So stop conflating the refugees with terrorists. This is the first step in your recovery from identifying-your-friends-as-enemies syndrome.
48 democrats voted in league with this idiot asshole.
