Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) had a testy exchange with Fox News host Chris Wallace on Sunday after the GOP nominee hopeful repeatedly tried to interject, eventually saying, “let me know whether I’m allowed to answer.”

Wallace asked Cruz to respond to a list of what some had called “dirty tricks” in his campaign, including suggesting Dr. Ben Carson had dropped out of the race and his communication director tweeting about Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) disrespecting the Bible.

Cruz told Wallace that each allegation was incorrect and they proceeded to talk over each other.

Cruz said three times: “Chris, please don’t interrupt me.”

“Well, I mean, please don’t say — please accuse me of something I didn’t do,” Wallace finally interjected.

“Go ahead, Chris,” Cruz finally said. “Let me know whether I’m allowed to answer.”
