Senate Passes ENDA

The Senate voted 64-32 to pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act on Thursday afternoon, which prohibits businesses with 15 or more workers from making employment decisions based on one’s sexual orientation or gender identity.

The bill now goes to the GOP-led House, where Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) has signaled he won’t bring it up for a vote.
