Former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is set to make an appearance on “Saturday Night Live” this month, People magazine reported Wednesday.
The onetime Alaska governor and current reality TV star will join nearly 50 former SNL cast members and hosts for show’s 40th anniversary special Feb. 15, the magazine reported, citing two unnamed sources close to Palin.
While it’s unclear how Palin will participate in the show, she will come with gifts for SNL alum Tina Fey, who famously parodied her during and after the 2008 election, according to People.

“Sarah Palin To Appear On SNL 40th Anniversary Special”
Makes sense. SNL loves a long-running joke.
Palin will mess this up.
Why give this vile disgusting being any attention at all. What is SNL thinking?
At what point does self-parody become pathological?
Sarah Palin was the low-hanging fruit for SNL writers for quite a while, not to mention what she did for Tina Fey’s career. Makes sense to me why they’d go back to the well.
You think that her appearance on SNL gives her any sort of legitimacy, political or otherwise? It’s much more likely she’ll be the object of ridicule as always, which is exactly what she deserves.
